2009 Missouri Youth Livestock Grading and Judging

Workshop

An educational activity with explanation of USDA grades, traditional judging and keep/cull classes by USDA, Animal Science and Extension personnel through the use of slides and demonstration animals. Open to all Missouri youth in 8th grade or lower.

Contest

For adults who want to become a livestock judge with practical experience in judging a species or various species and for adults who want to coach or assist a livestock judging team. Recommended for 8th grade and older or after completing 2 years of the livestock grading and judging workshop.
