Excellence in Compliance Award

The Excellence in Compliance Award is designed to recognize those companies who have high standards and have met or exceeded a 90% rounded average compliance in 2020. Those companies are listed below.

The Missouri Department of Agriculture will issue a certificate to honor those companies that have met or exceeded the following criteria:

• At least five random official regulatory samples must have been taken by a Missouri Feed and Seed inspector and been analyzed by the State Feed Control Laboratory in 2020.
• A 90% passing compliance rate on five or more samples must have been achieved for the 2020 calendar year.
• The company labeling the feed or feed ingredient must be in good standing with the Bureau of Feed and Seed, retain a Missouri Commercial Feed License, and have all quarterly inspection fees or yearly product listing (pet and specialty pet foods) paid as required.

A total of 83 feed labelers have achieved a 90% or better compliance rate in Missouri in 2020.

Fifty of these companies maintain an address in the state of Missouri and 33 are located outside of Missouri. A number of companies with out-of-state addresses have manufacturing facilities in Missouri.
